In continuing with the boycott of dates prior to my vacation (which i clearly gave up on), I went out with S- the Argentinian (which I'm aware, is probably incorrectly spelled). He's attractive, even though it was dim. But trust me, he was! We met at Under bar in the W hotel, great place, usually quiet, but of course not tonight, just my luck. There was a private party, yet we decided to stay. Now, i don't have a final idea as far as how the date went with respect to doing it again, but i blame that mostly on the loudness- as it was abnormally loud! Add in that he has an accent and didn't quite pick up on all of my jokes (blame Argentina!) and that's what you end up with. Truth is, I really enjoyed speaking with him. Clearly someone who is more guarded then I- yes its possible. I did most of the asking, but he did talk a lot when given the right topic. I tired to reserve some of the favs, like TV so that I had back-up topics for next time. We were there for 2.5 hours, 1 drink, and loud noise, I had to leave. towards the end I made him find the waitress who actually left from the cocktail hour shift, to get the check. He kindly paid and we left. Now, to be honest, we kissed a lot, in public, which is my least favorite thing to do, however he's a very good kisser, which is always good, and thus I continued. And he seemed very gentlemanly as he offered to walk me to the bus- he lives around Wall Street. He's very smart, but quiet, and nice, and I hope to see him again. He did text me to say goodnight, and that we will see each other when I get back- lets hope that comes true, and that it's quieter!
That's all for now, I'll be back on 7/7- stay tuned for updates then!

2.8
Ok I know what I said- no dates until I get back from my vacation.. and I did mean it, however, i thought, wasted time isn't that great either, and why not seize the day (would totally have spelled out the latin words but thought i would butcher them!). I met P at Sutton Place- hold you opinions, yes i know, however we both work in the area, and while it screams college especially bc he's 30, i thought, why not give it a chance. He was nice, and arrived a moment before I did. It was a Monday, so the place was empty- awesome... and i do mean that. He's shy and you can tell he felt a bit awkward, he's the typical lawyer from LI, and just moved to the city. that took up a lot of our conversation, and then we randomly spoke about Disney. I heart Disney- yes i did just say that!!! So naturally, i felt this kindred that we somehow really clicked bc the conversation didn't stop and just went on and on about Disney. One has to wonder, yes, that conversation does eventually end, but does it really have to? Anyway we each had a beer, and then we parted. I do hope I see him again, no complete verdict on him, but i thought he was nice, so I'll keep you posted.
