And date #1- welcome back to the scene, and it went well, for being a first date, and knowing that i probs didnt have to much in common. M is 42- no theres nothing wrong with him, yes, he was married before, as that so eloquently came into the convo as he spoke of this 2 bed apt on the UES. Another caveat, i dont date people who are older then 35 typically... but i thought im going to go with an open mind.
So i arrived 13 min late (bad i know!) bc it seems as if there was no cabs in the city and the bus was running like molasses... so i met M, who was standing outside of the Waldorf Astoria- the photo he posted looked like it was taken 10 years ago...yikes!
But the conversation went well, spoke a lot about traveling, and spinning and running. Because to that extent thats the only part i could speak on. Back to exhibit A- why you cant date someone sooo much older! He's a tech trader, and has run his own hedge fund, and he live in the pent house of a really nice building, and had a huge wad of cash in a clip when he paid the martini bill.... But all that fantastic stuff aside, i doubt i'll see M again, bc he seemed like a "do gooder" speaking about this tri-althon he previously trained for. I hear that and i hear no wings and beer on Sunday funday and we all know = not going to work!
He's pleasant, and when we left, i said- we'll speak soon.. and then he kissed my check, on both sides as if he was from Europe. Sir.. please were in midtown.

And let the games begin
Its really happening..... So I have 2 saved VM's, 4 pending emails to write back to this morning, and a bunch of others that I put on the way back burner for now! Start date will be Saturday April 26th. I'm meeting M for drinks downtown, followed by drinks with A (if he gets back to me today). I'll be taking in some culture at the Moma on Sunday with P, and dining with D at an Italian place on the UES. Monday confirmed with the medi sales guy, and that brings us to Tuesday, which is currently open. not for long though... bc i was talking with a dentist late last nice, and im hoping to parlay him right in there...
As for the VM. 1- is P for the Moma trip, so i probs should call him back stat... the other is from M (2) who owns a pharmacy wayyyyyy up in the Heights. He's way more religious then I am, and speaks with an acent bc he's from Iran! Dont even say it... i've already thought it... But he's somewhat intriguing so I'll call him tomorrow...

Overwhelmed
Hello there... ok i just signed off the dizzler.. and wrote wait for it, wait for it.. 29 emails! this is no joke kids. Now to be fair- there was something like 35 emails, but only 29 of them were acceptable, attractive, lived in NYC- the others werent residing in NYC or Jewish.. i know believe that!
But on the other hand, i did write to 21 of them, gave my number to 2... was sorta asked out for drinks this week by 2 others. So i think were off to a good start.
Now, the actual 30 days of Dates start day has really yet to have been decided.
I have a definate date with a medical sales person on Monday 4/28. Im working on getting something set up for Saturday and Sunday of this week, so stay tuned for the exact start date.
