In so many ways.. I haven't been able to get onto a computer.. which means I have not been the most popular on the dizzler... I went on tonight and wrote a few people... Lets see if they write back.
Now on an aside, I missed blogging about 2 dates with the Argentinian, which are getting better by the date! Last Friday we went out to dinner, and what seemed to be a good place, the Essex house in the E village, but the service was poor, and the food was average, clearly I don't recommend it. But the date was nice, until it turned into a night club, and again I couldn't hear him, so we went to a wine bar down the street. To be honest, he's funny, and cute. But again there is a definite confusion on his part with sarcasm and joking. He takes me seriously, and I believe that's because of the language barrier. Which truthfully, its a low barrier, because he speaks English perfectly, and understands it- but sometimes gets messed up on words like "frazzled" and sometimes he says things with his accent that don't even resemble a word that one could understand: ex- Last night at dinner ( yes we went out again) he said something about running and the "endorphins" make you feel better... he put the emphasis on the wrong syllable, and so it sounded funny. On a less critical note, he's really nice, and said that I was pretty (which now sounds very elementary as I write it here). We had dinner and drinks, and then I was tired, so we parted ways only after our 10 minute PDA session. And to think I would always make fun of others when they made out on the street...hysterical!
He travels a lot for business, so he's away until Friday, but we talk everyday on email, so I'm sure we'll get a plan together. Stay tuned.
